Since the establishment of our company, Compex Salt Ltd. in 1997 it has become the number one salt wholesaler on personal consumption market. Salt, rice, food flavourings, spice mixture as well as de-icing products can be found on our offer in different packages from 200 grams up to industrial 50 kilograms or even 1000 kilograms. The company is 100 percent Hungarian property.
Our plant is situated near the Ukrainian and Romanian borders, next to the village of Nyirtass covering an area of 10 thousand square metres. Annually we transact over 2000 trucks of goods turnover that is 50 million kilograms of goods. Depending on the season the production, storing and shipping is done with the help of 100 employees. As part of our responsible company attitude we have given job opportunity to a significant number of disabled employees to work for our company for 10 years now.
As for acquisition, our company has got contacts and direct contracts for a long time with the mines of the neighbouring countries so we obtain raw material by getting the best conditions. On our offer we have – sorted according to raw materials- mined salt, sodden and refined vacuum salt, sea salt, Himalayan salt and also loose and packed road castor salt.
As for marketing, we have got direct shipping contracts with almost every Hungarian and international chains such as Real, CBA, Coop, Tesco, Metro, Spar, Lidl chains. In several cases we produce these companies their own branded products and our entire customer circle includes over 200 live members with a significant number of industrial companies.
